Job summary

Glanbia plc in Middlesbrough, UK is seeking an Engineering Performance & Reliability Manager to drive planning, maintenance excellence and continuous improvement. You will ensure robust systems and processes across Engineering, Operations and CI functions, owning CMMS and PM effectiveness.

This role focuses on eliminating failure, optimizing maintenance, coaching engineers, and delivering reliable asset performance through data-driven strategies and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of CMMS and data capture for reliability analysis.
• Experience in root cause analysis and failure elimination.
• Proven ability to plan maintenance and optimise PM programmes.
• Analytical mindset with KPI reporting and data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the site's planning process.
• Develop robust weekly maintenance plans with Managers and Shift Engineers.
• Coordinate engineering activity to align with business priorities.
• Provide visibility of planned activities across the site.
• Support planning of preventive, corrective, shutdowns and CI projects.
• Ensure work is prepared and resourced before execution.
• Monitor backlog and drive completion of priority activities.
• Improve handovers and communication between shifts.
• Develop planning standards to maximise effectiveness.
