Job summary

Glanbia plc is seeking an Operations Line Lead at the Middlesbrough site to oversee safety, quality, cost and efficiency across up to two lines. You will lead 5S practices, risk assessments and SOP creation, while driving data accuracy and performance reviews of KPIs such as OEE and yields.

The role requires strong leadership, communication and food-safety focus. The successful candidate will manage production rotas, train line teams, and ensure safe working practices and hygiene standards are

Qualifications

• Experience in the food industry or equivalent
• Willingness to enrol in developmental qualifications (ILM/NVQ)
• Knowledge of 5S, risk assessment and SHE standards
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Attention to detail in HACCP/food safety
• Numeracy and data handling with SAP/MS Office

Responsibilities

• Develop housekeeping standards, task lists and 5S auditing
• Identify hazards and reduce risk in operations
• Carry out risk assessments for all operations
• Lead safety culture meetings and training
• Create SOPs and diagnose operational performance
• Review material usage and ensure data accuracy
