Job summary

Glanbia, a leader in global nutrition, seeks an Engineering Performance & Reliability Manager to drive planning, maintenance excellence and reliability across the Middlesbrough site. You will own the CMMS, develop robust maintenance plans and lead RCA-driven improvements.

You will coach engineers in breakdown analysis, foster a proactive maintenance culture, and collaborate with Operations to sustain asset reliability and performance. A pathway to leadership and global learning awaits.

Qualifications

• Engineering background in FMCG or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of planned maintenance systems.
• Experience using CMMS platforms.
• Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence without direct authority.
• Lean Manufacturing experience.
• Continuous Improvement experience.
• Reliability Engineering knowledge.
• Experience facilitating improvement workshops.
• Knowledge of MTBF, MTTR and asset reliability metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the site engineering planning process.
• Develop robust weekly maintenance plans with the Maintenance Manager and Shift Engineers.
• Coordinate engineering activity to align resources to priorities.
• Provide visibility of planned activities across the site.
• Plan preventative and corrective maintenance, shutdown work and CI projects.
• Ensure work is planned, prepared and resourced before execution.
• Monitor backlog and drive priority completion.
• Improve handovers and communication between shifts.
