Job summary

Qwello is seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of its UK EV charging infrastructure. You will coordinate maintenance activities, optimise workflows and drive continuous improvements across internal teams and external partners.

The role requires a degree in electrical or software engineering or 3+ years in a similar role, with willingness to travel across the UK. EV experience is a plus, and Linux knowledge is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering, software engineering, or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Initial EV experience is desirable, but not essential
• Qualified electrician with Level 3 electrical installation qualification and 18th Edition BS 7671 is a plus
• Linux knowledge would be a plus
• Able to travel throughout UK

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and oversee the operation and maintenance strategies for our Qwello UK charging infrastructure
• Use your analytical mindset to identify priorities and areas of improvement
• Collect and analyse data to generate actionable insights and comprehensive reports
• Manage the interactions with the internal technical service team
• Collaborate in the implementation of service and construction measures to improve operational efficiency
• Coordinate with external companies to ensure high quality and timely execution of tasks
• Proactively share your expertise and insights to elevate the team’s knowledge and performance
• Facilitate seamless collaboration between the technical service team, parent company and management
• Create and implement maintenance processes
• Provide support to project managers
