Job summary

Jaguar Land Rover in Solihull seeks a qualified Reliability/Maintainability specialist for BIW operations. You’ll deliver reliability growth, lead TPM activities on the shop floor, and liaise with maintenance teams to ensure Technical Availability meets targets.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, continuous improvement, and the development of predictive maintenance strategies for Body Construction Manufacturing systems. A proactive engineer with automotive know-how is ideal.

Qualifications

Demonstrable experience in Reliability and Maintainability in automotive manufacturing.
Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement with Kaizen.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Ensure MTTR and MTBF data are analyzed to deliver Technical Availability improvements.
Implement Reliability growth plans to support Technical Availability improvement.
Support development of Condition Based Monitoring and Predictive strategies for Body Construction Manufacturing systems.
Ensure PM schedules are adhered to, backed by R&M data.
Lead TPM activities on the shopfloor with production and maintenance teams.
