Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd in Manchester is seeking a Reliability Engineer to lead proactive maintenance and reliability improvements for fast-paced manufacturing equipment. You will implement PPM across a range of machinery and work with the engineering team to minimise downtime.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, a recognised mechanical engineering qualification, and strong fault-finding skills. IPAF and safety awareness are valued assets for the team.

Qualifications

• Mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• Hands-on with planned preventive maintenance and reliability-focused tasks.
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a proactive PPM programme across production machinery.
• Maintain equipment to keep lines running with minimal downtime.
