Reliability and Test Engineer
Up to £45,000 (dependent upon experience)
Location: Nottingham

The Role
The Reliability and Test Engineer will be responsible for ensuring quality, reliability, and system performance within the product development team. Key responsibilities include assessing and mitigating risks throughout all development phases, developing and executing validation tests, operating test and data acquisition equipment, analyzing results, and providing feedback to improve products.
The ideal candidate will have experience in product testing, particularly within electromechanical or embedded systems. Skills in manual and automated testing, programming (Python, C), and familiarity with PLCs, Arduino, HALT, and thermal chambers are desirable. Knowledge of tools like TestStand, Minitab, Jira, and reliability practices such as FMEA and Weibull Analysis is also beneficial.
The candidate should be a strong communicator, able to translate technical data into clear insights for diverse stakeholders. They should be proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. A degree in Engineering or a related field, along with a passion for quality and continuous improvement, is preferred.
