Job description

JRAD is seeking candidates for an immediate fill position supporting the U.S. Army Evaluation Center (AEC). This is an off-site position, but candidates must be local to Aberdeen, MD (within 1-hour driving distance).

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Serve as a subject matter expert providing technical guidance to meet requirements.
2. Work independently on complex projects, applying standard engineering methods, procedures, and techniques.
3. Perform project assignments involving complex features, analyzing results using prescribed techniques, and investigating multiple variables.

Required Skills and Education:

1. Master's Degree in Engineering.
2. At least 15 years of experience in RAM modeling, test design, reliability growth, and related areas, with demonstrated knowledge of DoD RAM regulations. Experience must include at least 6 months in each of the following:
   • Using database software (e.g., Microsoft Access) for RAM data analysis.
   • Developing technical training on RAM testing and data analysis.
   • Interpreting test incident reports and applying failure scoring criteria.
3. Minimum of 5 years within the last 10 years in operational effectiveness evaluation of Army and Joint Service systems, including:
   • Conducting developmental and operational tests, data collection, and evaluation.
   • Interpreting and applying acquisition documentation and policies.
   • Experience with assessment methodologies for Joint Capability Technology Demonstrations.
   • Experience with test infrastructure gaps, communication testing, and technical documentation such as evaluation plans and reports.
   • Experience with software application testing (black box) and network communication is a plus.

Security Clearance:

• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility.
