Aviva plc in Norwich, York or Eastleigh is seeking a Release Manager to coordinate technology change and deliver reliable releases across platforms. You will join the Quality Engineering Centre of Excellence, working with engineering, delivery and operations teams to plan, governance and Go-Live activities while protecting customer services.

You will manage release schedules, risks and inter-team dependencies, drive continuous improvements to release processes, and help ensure production

Formación

• Experience managing software releases within a complex technology environment.
• Strong planning, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Experience in Agile environments and knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD) and release automation tools would be beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Lead release planning, governance and risk management for releases across multiple platforms and business areas.
• Coordinate release activities across engineering, delivery, operational and business teams; support deployment activities and Go-Live events.
• Identify opportunities to improve release processes and drive continuous improvements across the technology organisation.
• Maintain production stability by managing risks and resolving delivery conflicts.
