Job summary

Capgemini in the UK is launching a Relaunch programme and seeks a junior-to-mid-level Interaction Designer to join our Experience Design community. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to design accessible, user-centred digital products and services for government and enterprise transformation.

You will learn, apply user-centred methods, create prototypes and collaborate with researchers, product managers and developers, progressively taking on responsibility as your confidence grows.

Qualifications

• Grounding in user-centred design and collaborative working with development teams.
• Experience applying evidence-based decision making in design.
• Familiarity with design and prototyping tools and accessibility considerations.

Responsibilities

• Understand user needs and journeys with researchers and design colleagues.
• Translate user needs and research into clear design ideas.
• Create user flows, wireframes and prototypes.
• Design inclusive, accessible products and services.
• Test and iterate designs with feedback from users and stakeholders.
• Explain design thinking and evidence behind decisions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including developers and product managers.
• Contribute to workshops and design sessions with support.
• Iterate designs using delivery feedback.
• Share learning within the Experience Design community.
