What you will do

As a Relationship Management Apprentice within our Commercial & Institutional - Commercial Mid Market Team, you will:

  • Liaise with customers and prospective customers, focusing on building sustainable, long-term relationships, and delivering positive customer outcomes.
  • Conduct telephone meetings with customers, including service reviews and fraud/security checks. You may also attend face-to-face meetings occasionally.
  • Support the management of customer contact strategies through diary planning and booking appointments for Relationship Managers.
  • Provide Relationship Managers with well-researched briefs and information for their customer meetings.
  • Contribute to risk management to ensure compliance with the Bank's requirements.
  • Learn and understand the process of handling a lending request from start to finish and support its management.

Eligibility

While it is ideal to provide evidence of GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English at grade A-C or Level 4, it is not mandatory to start. If you haven't achieved these grades, we will support your development during the apprenticeship.

Compensation and benefits

You will receive a competitive salary of £25,020 and benefits including protection, healthcare, lifestyle perks, 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, and a monthly retirement contribution.
