Job summary

Michael Page is working with a highly respected international bank to recruit a Corporate Banking Manager based in Swindon. The role focuses on relationship-led corporate banking, prioritising long-term client advisory over product pushing and quarterly bonuses.

You will manage a portfolio of corporate clients, onboard new customers, and lead lending transactions from origination to drawdown within a prudent credit framework.

Qualifications

• Experience in Corporate/Commercial/Relationship Banking with ownership of lending opportunities from origination through to credit approval and drawdown.
• Ability to analyse company accounts, cash flows and balance sheets to assess credit risk.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of corporate clients.
• Build relationships with local businesses, introducers and advisers.
• Win and onboard new corporate banking clients.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and balance sheet assessment.
• Structure lending transactions and recommend facilities.
• Prepare and present credit papers and recommendations.
• Assess transaction suitability, affordability and risk.
• Complete annual reviews and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
• Coordinate and manage the full lending process through to drawdown.
• Maintain focus on credit quality, risk management and client service.
