We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the UK TMT, Healthcare and Education Corporate banking team in the role of Relationship Director.
You’ll work closely with a diverse portfolio of customers, understanding their goals and challenges, and providing the insight, support and solutions needed to help them succeed. You’ll be a trusted adviser and influential partner to a portfolio of customers with annual turnovers ranging from £15m to £350m. You will drive exceptional customer experiences, building long‑term relationships with existing clients while identifying and developing new business opportunities . Managing a portfolio of UK and international clients, you will oversee the full relationship lifecycle, balancing customer growth opportunities with effective risk management. You'll thrive by developing trusted, collaborative relationships across a wide network of internal and external stakeholders.

This is a hybrid position with the base location being Queen Victoria Street. This role requires an element of travel for client meetings, mostly around the London region and into Surrey. It is therefore important that the successful candidate can travel and is within an easily commutable distance of this region.
London office relocation: Between January and April 2027, many office-based HSBC employees in London will move from either 8 Canada Square or Queen Victoria Street to one of our new sites at St. Paul’s or Canary Wharf. Depending on when they join, successful candidates may start at an existing office before moving or join directly at a new location. The specific location cannot be confirmed at advert stage and will be discussed during the recruitment process. This does not apply to branch-based or HSBC Innovation Bank roles.
