Aviva is seeking a Reinsurance Actuary to support the Retirement business in London or Norwich. The role involves administration of in-force reinsurance arrangements, analysing data, and collaborating with reinsurers, trustees, and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has Defined Benefit pensions or annuity experience, strong numerical skills, and good communication abilities. Excel, VBA, and SQL skills are advantageous, with flexibility on location.

Qualifications

• Experience within Defined Benefit pensions, annuity insurance, reinsurance operations or a related actuarial environment
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with experience reviewing complex calculations and data
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Good working knowledge of Excel, with VBA and SQL skills advantageous
• Qualified actuary, working towards actuarial qualification, or able to demonstrate equivalent actuarial or pensions experience

Responsabilités

• You will join Aviva's Reinsurance Operations team responsible for ongoing administration and oversight of all in-force reinsurance arrangements within Aviva's Retirement business
• You will review and analyse reinsurance data, premium calculations, accounts and collateral materials, support onboarding of new transactions, and help enhance processes, controls and systems
