Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a Reinstatement Supervisor to oversee reinstatement teams across our contract. Experience with tarmac, modular and rigid surfaces is a plus. You’ll supervise work on public highways, building sites and residential land, ensuring safety, cost-effectiveness and high-quality results.

You will coach staff, manage labour and programmes, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver a first-class service to our clients, maintaining a right-first-time culture across projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the Utilities sector or similar.
  • Experience on Civils-related projects is preferred.
  • Full and clean driving license is required.
  • Good awareness of health and safety practices.
  • Computer literacy with basic software packages.

Responsibilities

  • Have operational responsibility for reinstatement teams and their day-to-day activities.
  • Organise labour cost-effectively, including recruitment, disciplinary action, wages and absence management.
  • Coach and develop staff to reach potential and maintain a fair, consistent culture.
  • Help manage frame and cover programme and ensure KPIs are met.
  • Help manage the defect programme, attend Highway Meetings and ensure KPI targets.
  • Liaise with Support Services and Street Works to manage liabilities and ensure right-first-time delivery.
  • Complete team inspections to ensure high compliance and quality.

Description

As a Reinstatement Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising reinstatement teams across our contract. Previous experience with tarmac, Modular & Rigid surfaces work would be an advantage. We are looking for individual who take pride in their work to get it right first time to the highest standard of quality.

Your team’s tasks will be undertaken on public highways, building sites and private residential land, and must be undertaken in a safe and responsible manner. You will be working to meet the needs of the client in the most cost-effective manner. You will provide technical expertise, experience and work within a team to deliver a first-class service to our customers.

You will be able to engineer solutions on site and focus your teams on completing work right first time.

You will work with the scheduling team ensuring programmes are managed and delivered accordingly. You will provide support to ensure that the company’s work is effectively completed through communication with internal and external customers, as well as the management of the business and client database systems.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for someone to:

  • Have operational responsibility for the reinstatement teams and their in-day activities

  • Coach and develop staff to reach their potential; ensuring a fair and consistent culture with the teams
  • Help manage the frame and cover programme and ensure KPIs are met
  • Help manage the defect programme and ensure that KPIs are met and Highway Meetings are attended
  • Have knowledge and experience of Reinstatement for Utilities
  • Maintain a customer focus
  • Use Modular+ (smartphone system) & Client Computer system to deliver all feedback for commercial and reinstatement feedback
  • Liaise with the Support Services and Street works Team to ensure that FPN and Section74 liabilities are managed and focus on a right first-time attitude Understanding and complying with regulations including NRSWA
  • Complete Team Inspections, to ensure a high level of Compliance with a real focus on quality and first-time reinstatement
  • Be a Health & Safety Representative, which will include undertaking health & safety inspections in and around the workplace, raising health & safety related matters with management and investigating reportable accidents or incidents as and when they occur
Experience and Qualifications
  • A good understanding and experience of the Utilities industry
  • Previous experience working on Civils related projects
  • Full and clean driving license
  • Good awareness of health and safety
  • Computer literate and familiar with basic software packages
