Job summary

ALD & Aggreg8 Solutions in Essex is seeking a reliable reinstatement operative to deliver modular and cementitious materials to highways sites, ensuring resurfacing to specification while complying with safety regulations.

You will complete tasks, manage records, coordinate with the planning team, operate plant and vehicles, and capture site photos at each stage. Essential qualifications: NRSWA accreditation, Driving Licence, and EUSR National Water Hygiene.

Qualifications

• NRSWA Streetworks accreditation required.
• EUSR National Water Hygiene required.
• Driving Licence required, clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver modular and cementitious materials to sites for resurfacing to the required specification.
• Remove spoil and waste materials and dispose of as instructed.
• Complete allocated work and maintain records within planned timescales.
• Liaise with planning/management to facilitate task completion.
• Ensure security of vehicle and plant equipment.
• Set up and maintain Signing Lighting and Guarding per Chapter 8 guidelines.
• Identify and apply Banks Persons resources for vehicle/plant manoeuvring.
• Operate manual and mechanical plant and equipment.
• Drive a variety of vehicles and plant.
• Capture images at each stage from site arrival to departure.
• Identify and report defects or damage to site or property.
• Maintain safe working practices and follow Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
• Work flexibly in a changing environment within a fast-expanding company.
• Undertake other reasonable tasks as directed by management.

LOCATION: Essex

WORKING HOURS: 7:00 am - 17:00 Monday to Friday with flexibility

REPORTING TO: Reinstatement Manager

RESPONSIBLE FOR: None

MAIN PURPOSE/OBJECTIVES OF ROLE:

To carry out to a high standard of safety and quality the reinstatement of Highways and Sites, using modular and cementitious specific materials, while complying with all applicable legislation and regulations.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver to site modular and cementitious materials and use these materials for re-surfacing to the required specification
• Remove spoil and waste materials and dispose of as instructed
• Complete allocated work(s) and work records within the planned timescales
• Liaise with the planning/management team throughout the working day to facilitate the completion of planned tasks
• Ensure the security of vehicle/plant equipment
• Ensure that all Signing Lighting and Guarding (SLG) is set up and maintained in accordance with Chapter 8 guidelines.
• Identify and apply Banks Persons resources for vehicle and plant manoeuvring
• Operate manual and mechanical plant and equipment
• Drive a variety of vehicle's and plant
• Ensure images are captured at each stage of the task from site arrival through to departure
• Identify and report all defects or damage to site or property
• Maintain safe working practices whilst undertaking your duties at all times
• To act in accordance with the company's Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and practices highlighting any issues appropriately
• Work flexibly and be receptive and adaptable to a changing environment within a fast-expanding Company
• Undertake any other reasonable tasks as directed by management
