Job summary

Ariya Neurocare in Barnsley is seeking a Rehabilitation Support Worker to provide vital care and support in a neuro rehabilitation setting. You will assist service users to regain skills and lead fulfilling lives, on a rota basis including evenings and weekends.

We have a strong track record with the local CQC and Headway schemes, and offer career development programmes including management training opportunities to help you grow within the care sector.

Qualifications

• We will ask that you have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in the care industry.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of personal care including morning/ evening routines (privacy, dignity, and gentle care are paramount).
• Assistance with transfers and mobility.
• Bladder and bowel management.
• Domestic duties, including maintaining a clean, tidy home and preparing fresh meals.
• Assisting with daily tasks, errands, and social activities, encouraging hobbies, outings, and social engagement.
• Person centred care and complex clinical requirements.

Rehabilitation Support Worker – Neuro Rehabilitation Setting

Location: Barnsley

Salary: £13.45 per hour

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our residential home in Barnsley.

As a Rehabilitation Support Worker, you will provide vital care and support to help our service users regain skills and lead fulfilling lives again.

Our Barnsley team have been awarded a very rare 'Outstanding' in all areas in their CQC inspection and in their Headway, ABI approved provider scheme across all 6 domains. This is due to the great environment and outcomes in working with individuals regain their lives after accident or injury.

This role is on a rota basis which includes evening and weekend work. The role will involve all aspects of personal care depending on the needs of people in the service.
