Rehabilitation Support Worker (Maternity Cover)
Location: Bramcote, Nottingham, East Midlands
Hours: 36 hours a week – Fixed Term
Pay: £19.00 to £21.00 per hour

Our personal care assistants join our client’s support team, providing reliable, essential care and support in their home. You will be employed by HomeCareDirect on behalf of the client, focusing solely on supporting them. This role is to cover maternity leave until April 2026, with potential for permanence. The hours are between 8 am and 8 pm, Friday to Sunday, to meet the client’s needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support a young man with a brain injury living independently at home. Your role will be to empower him to lead an active and fulfilling life by providing personal care, companionship, and assistance with multidisciplinary therapies.
Supporting him in social and sporting activities, helping build meaningful connections, and assisting with daily tasks such as meal preparation, health & fitness, diary management, and finances are key responsibilities.
We seek a compassionate, proactive individual who can work closely with him, his family, and therapists to enhance his quality of life. Core values should include willingness to learn, honesty, integrity, and living life to the fullest.
Experience in similar roles, good physical fitness for manual handling, trustworthiness, and the ability to work with initiative in a family home with dogs are preferred.
