Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a compassionate Rehabilitation Support Worker at Knot House in Ellesmere Port. The role involves helping people recover from injury, illness or disability to regain independence and receive person-centred rehabilitation support.

Typical shifts are from 8:00 to 15:00, 15:00 to 22:00 and 22:00 to 08:00, with 21–42 hours per week and £13.22–£14.72 per hour plus enhancements for nights, weekends and overtime. Join a caring team in a dynamic ABI service.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a care or support role is preferred but not essential.
  • A caring, patient and empathetic nature.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, mobility and meals.
  • Support rehabilitation programmes set by healthcare professionals.

Job description

Rehabilitation Support Worker - Ellesmere Port - Part-time & Full-time positions are available, from 21 hours up to 42 hours per week

£13.22 per hour up to £14.72 per hour with overtime and nights/weekend enhancements (Ts & Cs apply)

Typical Shifts are: Monday to Sunday, 8:00am - 3:00pm, 3:00pm - 10:00pm and 10:00pm - 8:00am.

Staff are required to be fully flexible to work ALL 3 x shifts above.

We're on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on, and reliable Rehabilitation Support Worker with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. In this role, you will support individuals recovering from injury, illness, or disability to regain independence and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, families, and clients to deliver person-centred care and rehabilitation support, you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, at our ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) service, Knot House in Ellesmere Port, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local restaurants or attending appointments, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
