Job summary

Nuffield Health Cardiff & Vale Hospitals is seeking a Rehabilitation Specialist to deliver our rehabilitation programmes. The role involves running rolling 12-week plans, leading live and in-person classes, and supporting participants with self-directed activity and goal setting.

Strong communication and IT skills are essential. You will work onsite, coordinate with the Charity team and supporters, and hold a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification.

Responsibilities

• Organise and run a series of rolling 12-week rehabilitation programmes.
• Facilitate and deliver both live stream and in person group exercise classes.
• Promote self-directed activity using on-demand classes and a participant journal.
• Re-calibrate exercises based on improvements in effort and performance.
• Identify deterioration and follow escalation processes with timely reporting.
• Offer weekly 1to1 coaching calls to set goals and provide emotional wellbeing support.
