Zusammenfassung

Hampshire and Isle of Wight NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced or newly qualified nurse to join rehabilitation wards (Keats Ward and Conan Doyle Ward) at Western Community Hospital. The post supports level 3 physical rehabilitation services for adults and involves coordinating care, assessing needs and delivering rehabilitation plans, with supervision of junior staff.

Aufgaben

Coordinate and deliver high-quality nursing care; ensure ward area is safe and efficient.
Assess patients’ care needs and develop plans for care/rehabilitation while upholding dignity.
Provide day-to-day supervision of junior staff and students on placement.
Promote a well maintained, clean and safe ward environment.
Regularly manage care on a day-to-day basis for all ward patients in the absence of more senior colleagues.
Provide high standards of effective health care for people accessing the service.
Support senior colleagues in the leadership of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Rehabilitation Services.
Be actively involved in service development and improving standards of care.
Manage the clinical area through the implementation of policies and procedures.
Adopt a flexible approach to hours of duty to meet service needs (24-hour cover).
Be prepared to support other service elements as needs dictate.
