You must be willing to take part in therapy based competencies and have experience working in a health/social care setting

This role will involve working as part of a team and supporting activities that ensure the development of the team and the wider service.

We operate a 7 day working system which includes a requirement to participate in a weekend roster for which you would receive days off in the week. You must also be willing to work flexibly and contribute to the late cover working until 6pm on a rota basis.

Person specification

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE

• Previous employment with a healthcare setting (18 months)
• A basic understanding of the needs and issues concerning illness and disability
• An understanding of the issues when working in service user’s own homes
• Demonstrate an interest in working with individuals within the clinical remit of Inpatient Therapies
• A basic understanding of rehabilitation with acutely unwell patients
• Experience of working in an inpatient/outpatient setting
• Experience of dealing with patients with complex needs and their carers
• Understand needs of the specific client group
• Knowledge of the client group and evidence of related training

QUALIFICATIONS

• English and Math GCSE grade 9-2 (A*-E) or equivalent or high level of literacy and numeracy skills demonstrated within application
• Competence based level 2 Qualification e.g. NVQ or Diploma
• Willingness to undertake any training or development relevant to the role
• Competent / able to evidence the completion of competencies in relevant field
