Job summary

The AICS Group in Brighton is seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Support Worker to assist a client with brain injury in a home setting. You will provide person-centred support, help with rehabilitation goals, and work with healthcare professionals daily.

A 1-year background in health and social care is required, along with a UK driving licence, moving and handling skills, and a compassionate, adaptable approach. DBS check is required, and sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in health and social care, specifically rehabilitation.
• UK Driving Licence required to drive the client.
• Experience with moving and handling.
• Rehabilitation experience.
• Understanding of developmental delay and cognitive impairment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good IT skills.
• Ability to work in the client’s home and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Ability to take a person-centred approach in care.
• Experience in medication administration, personal care, and manual handling.
• Willingness to learn and take feedback.
• Ability to think creatively to support the client’s needs.
• Love for animals (client has pets).
