Job summary

L&G in the United Kingdom seeks a Regulatory Reporting Analyst to support daily and periodic reporting processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and high data quality. You will perform reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and escalate issues promptly, working with internal teams and third parties.

You’ll review procedures in line with regulatory changes, stay informed on industry developments, and help identify efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with proactive, independent work.
• Good time-management and prioritisation.
• Strong Excel skills and comfortable handling data.
• Ability to follow structured processes while identifying issues and supporting resolution.
• Clear communication with a client-focused approach.
• Interest in regulatory reporting and developing expertise in this area.
• Desirable: experience in financial services.
• GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English.

Responsibilities

• Executing daily and periodic transaction reporting processes to support regulatory compliance
• Performing reconciliations and investigating discrepancies across reporting datasets
• Maintaining high standards of data quality through proactive oversight and robust controls
• Supporting business‑as‑usual reporting activities while identifying improvements to efficiency
• Escalating reporting issues, risks, and delays clearly and promptly
• Reviewing and enhancing procedures in line with regulatory and business changes
• Analysing regulatory updates to stay informed of industry and legislative developments
• Collaborating with internal teams and third parties to resolve reporting issues
