Job summary

London Metal Exchange is seeking a Technical Regulatory Reporting Analyst to support EMIR, MiFID II and SFTR reporting for LME Clear, collaborating with Regulatory Reporting, Technology and Compliance teams. The role covers data interrogation, automation, testing and business analysis to enhance reporting quality and controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Regulatory Reporting or related financial reporting/controls environment.
• Experience investigating complex data issues and performing root cause analysis.
• Experience with large datasets, data reconciliations and end-to-end regulatory reporting processes.
• Knowledge of MiFID, EMIR, SFTR would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• EMIR, SFTR, and MiFID reporting for LME and LME Clear.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries to support reconciliations and reporting validation.
• Analyse large regulatory datasets to identify data quality issues and control weaknesses.
• Automate manual processes and improve reporting controls using Python and other tools.
• Produce timely MIS and maintain procedures for reporting services.
