Job summary

Vincere, based in Liverpool, is seeking a Regulatory Solicitor to join a growing national regulatory team. The role concentrates on inquests for police, emergency services, insurers and healthcare clients, with regular court appearances and ownership of a personal caseload.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years’ PQE and solid inquest experience, paired with excellent organisation and a collaborative, client‑facing approach. Hybrid working is available where possible.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients and preparing inquest cases for court
• Preparing written submissions on points of law
• Attending inquests and undertaking advocacy on clients’ behalf
• Managing a caseload of files and progressing matters efficiently
• Handling post-inquest issues, including Prevention of Future Deaths reports
• Attending administrative applications and hearings, including travel where required
• Achieving agreed financial and chargeable targets
• Working to deadlines, quality measures and KPIs

Regulatory Solicitor

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £60,000 to £85,000 (depending on experience)

Experience: 3+ years’ PQE

Our client is looking to hire a Regulatory Solicitor into a large, well-regarded national regulatory team, based in Liverpool.
This is a great move for someone who genuinely enjoys advocacy and wants a role where you are regularly on your feet, running inquest matters for a broad client base.

The focus is inquests for police and other emergency services, insurers and healthcare clients. If you have solid inquest experience and want to build your advocacy profile further, this is well worth a conversation.

This is predominantly an advocacy role, with regular attendance at court. You will take ownership of your own caseload, prepare matters thoroughly, and represent clients at inquests, supported by a wider national team.

What You’ll Be Doing
