Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Birmingham is hiring a Controllers, Non-Financial Regulatory Position Reporting Project Manager, Associate to lead complex, high-priority projects across Operations, Technology and Business. You will define plans, manage sponsors and deliver on time and budget, including requirements definitions, testing, and UAT.

The role demands at least 5 years' professional experience and 3 years in project management, with a preference for experience in regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience – required.
• 3 years of project management experience – required.
• Experience in regulatory reporting – preferred.
• Be a motivated, energetic team player.
• Have a proven track record of scoping and driving delivery of projects and achieving results independently on time and to budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex and high-priority projects, and manage sponsors and stakeholders with competing priorities, resourcing levels and time constraints across all typical project phases: project initiation, scoping, definition of plans and setting realistic expectations for successful delivery.
• Business analysis and requirements definition.
• Testing and implementation, including user acceptance testing.
• Ongoing project management and quality assurance throughout the project.
• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders in Operations, Technology and Business.
• Work with Operations units to assess and streamline processes to mitigate risk or control issues and generate efficiencies.
• Provide support and advice on project management tools and methods.
