RGA is a global life and health reinsurance company seeking a Financial Controller - Bermuda Operations to lead statutory and regulatory reporting, internal controls, and audit coordination. You will partner with local and global teams to ensure accurate, timely reporting under Bermuda GAAP and regulatory expectations.

The role focuses on governance, transformation initiatives, and effective communication with senior leadership and boards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Professional accounting qualifications (CPA/CA/ACCA) or equivalent.
• 7+ years in post-qualification public accounting, insurance/reinsurance accounting or regulatory reporting.
• Experience with Bermuda reporting requirements and statutory statements.
• Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead statutory and regulatory reporting for Bermuda entities, including BSCR/FCR.
• Coordinate US GAAP close and supporting schedules for Bermuda entities.
• Prepare board and management reporting packages and materials.
• Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting and remediation.
• Coordinate external audits and respond to information requests.
• Collaborate with global teams on regulatory and governance matters.
• Drive finance projects, process improvements and reporting enhancements.
• Provide leadership and coaching to the finance team.
