Citadel Securities is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Engineer to design and implement scalable data pipelines for global trade reporting. The role blends engineering, data and regulatory compliance to deliver reliable, timely regulatory outputs.

You will partner with Compliance, Operations and business teams to translate evolving requirements into robust technical solutions, improving accuracy and efficiency through automation and modern data architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong professional experience developing software in Python.
• Strong SQL and relational database expertise.
• Experience building scalable data processing solutions and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of data architecture, cloud platforms, and AI-enabled workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable regulatory reporting applications and data pipelines.
• Build solutions that model complex trading workflows and business processes.
• Develop and maintain systems for global trade and transaction reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, and business teams to translate regulatory obligations into technical implementations.
• Investigate reporting exceptions and implement automated data quality controls.
• Optimize data processing frameworks for accuracy, scalability, and efficiency.
• Support full software development lifecycle including production monitoring and troubleshooting.
