Clear Street is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for the Regulatory Reporting Engineering team to automate compliance and finance reporting using data from our data warehouse.

You will lead hands-on design, code reviews and set technical standards while partnering with Compliance, Finance and Treasury to translate requirements into scalable solutions, and drive operational excellence in a fast-growing, cloud-native platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software design and development including CI/CD, source control, testing and quality management.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, database design and Snowflake experience for scalable solutions.
• Self-starter with urgency and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Strong communicator with non-technical stakeholders, product managers and engineers.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems to develop effective solutions.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Regulatory Reporting Engineering effort to automate compliance and finance reporting.
• Build data-processing solutions from the data warehouse to generate clean, correct reports and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Finance and Treasury to translate requirements into scalable designs.
• Provide technical guidance, perform code reviews, and evolve standards and best practices.
