Job summary

Referment is seeking a Technical Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join our London team, supporting regulatory reporting across EMIR, MiFID II, SFTR and other frameworks. This role sits at the intersection of data, technology and regulatory change, offering opportunities to improve processes and automate controls.

You'll work with Regulatory Reporting, Technology, Compliance and external vendors to deliver accurate reporting, develop SQL queries, analyse large datasets and drive data quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in regulatory reporting, financial reporting, controls or a closely related environment.
• Experience investigating complex data issues and conducting root cause analysis.
• Strong experience working with large datasets and data reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Support EMIR Transaction, Position, Valuation and Collateral Reporting for the clearing business.
• Manage SFTR and MiFID reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries for reconciliations, investigations and reporting validation.
• Analyse large regulatory datasets to identify exceptions, data quality issues and control weaknesses.
• Use Python and other analytical tools to automate manual processes and controls.
• Produce accurate management information and reporting.
