Job summary

LME is seeking a Technical Regulatory Reporting Analyst in London to support EMIR, MiFID II and SFTR reporting for LME Clear. The role combines regulatory duties with data analysis, automation and process improvement, working with Regulatory Reporting, Technology, Compliance and Operations.

This permanent, full-time position involves developing SQL queries, performing data quality checks, and delivering timely MIS while enhancing reporting controls and procedures.

Qualifications

• A-Levels (or equivalent) and a degree is ideal
• 5+ years in Regulatory Reporting or related controls environment
• Experience investigating complex data issues and performing root cause analysis
• Experience with large datasets and data reconciliations
• Understanding end-to-end transaction lifecycle and reporting processes
• Experience supporting change initiatives or process improvement projects

Responsibilities

• EMIR Transaction, Position, Valuation and Collateral Reporting for LME Clear
• SFTR Reporting for LME Clear
• MiFID Reporting for LME
• Submitting other regulation reports for LME and LME Clear
• Develop and maintain SQL queries for reconciliations and reporting validation
• Analyse large regulatory data sets to identify reporting issues and control weaknesses
• Use Python to automate manual processes and management reporting
• Produce timely and accurate MIS and manage data lineage analyses
• Maintain procedures for reporting services and UAT testing as required
• Review BAU processes to increase automation and efficiency
