Job summary

London Metal Exchange is seeking a Technical Regulatory Reporting Analyst to support LME Clear regulatory reporting obligations, including EMIR, MiFID II and SFTR. You will develop SQL queries, analyse large datasets and automate processes using Python, while working with Regulatory Reporting, Technology, Compliance and Operations teams.

The role combines operational reporting with data analysis, controls improvement and testing, offering exposure to cross-functional projects and opportunities

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Regulatory Reporting or a related financial reporting or controls environment
• Experience investigating complex data issues and performing root cause analysis
• Understanding of EMIR, MiFID II and SFTR would be advantageous
• Experience working with large datasets and performing data reconciliations

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL queries to support reconciliations, investigations and reporting validation activities
• Analyse large regulatory reporting datasets to identify reporting exceptions, data quality issues and control weaknesses
• Utilise Python and other analytical tools to automate manual processes and management reporting
• Produce timely and accurate MIS and support data lineage analysis
