Job summary

The London Metal Exchange Limited is seeking a Technical Regulatory Reporting Analyst to support regulatory reporting obligations across EMIR, MiFID II and SFTR for LME Clear. The role blends regulatory knowledge with technical data analysis, automation, and controls improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A good level of academic achievement, likely to be A-Level calibre and possibly a degree.
• 5+ years’ experience in Regulatory Reporting or related financial reporting/controls environment.
• Experience investigating complex data issues and performing root cause analysis.
• Experience working with large datasets and performing data reconciliations.
• Understanding of end-to-end transaction lifecycle and regulatory reporting processes.
• Experience supporting change initiatives or process improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• EMIR Transaction, Position, Valuation and Collateral Reporting for LME Clear.
• SFTR Reporting for LME Clear.
• MiFID Reporting for LME.
• Submit other regulatory reports for LME and LME Clear.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries for reconciliations and reporting validation.
• Analyse large datasets to identify data quality issues and control weaknesses.
• Use Python and other tools to automate manual processes and improve controls.
