Job Description

We are seeking a financial services Regulatory Lawyer to join their team. You will act as the sole Regulatory advisor from the legal front, advising and training senior internal and external stakeholders, providing deep knowledge with the ability to influence. Your responsibilities include:

• Advising on regulatory issues impacting the organization, including regulatory change, conduct of business, and prudential regulatory matters.
• Leading communications with regulators and relevant external industry bodies. Contributing to business strategy considering regulatory changes.
• Identifying knowledge gaps and delivering training to legal and business colleagues.
• Serving as the key contact for business stakeholders and external counsel.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be a Senior Regulatory Lawyer (approx. 7+ PQE) with extensive expertise in financial services regulation, having specialized throughout their legal career in areas such as:

• Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales
• Regulatory specialization in financial services, in-house or private practice
• Experience advising internal or external stakeholders as the main point of contact
• Ability to commute into London 2-3 days per week
