Our Regulatory team is looking to recruit a lawyer from a professional regulatory background to lead on our case work.
The successful lawyer may be based out of our London, Cardiff, Reading or Southampton office. It’s a great time to join the team as we grow following new client wins and significant increases in work.
Our lawyers act for a range of clients in regulatory case work, including investigations and preparation for hearings before regulatory tribunals. They also conduct litigation in regulatory appeals and applications before courts in England and Wales (including the High Court). They may also have the opportunity to develop a practice as a legal advisor to regulatory panels.
We are committed to flexible and agile working arrangements which we are happy to discuss with you. Team members currently attend the office on 2 days each week.
Our Regulatory team is recognised in both Chambers and Legal 500 as a highly regarded team specialising in advising professional regulators. Our clients include regulators and professionals in a number of sectors including health and social care, accountancy and education.
We have one of the largest teams in the country, comprising solicitors, barristers, CILEX lawyers, paralegals and trainees and we are supported by a dedicated professional support lawyer and an experienced administrative team. Typical Workload
As a lawyer, you will:
Experience of regulatory investigations is helpful but you may have acquired the relevant skills in other areas of practice. Full support, induction and ongoing training is offered as part of this role.

Suitable applicants must be able to evidence professional regulatory knowledge or experience, ideally gained within a healthcare fitness to practice setting.
