Job summary

Red Snapper Recruitment is recruiting for an Enforcement Manager on behalf of the Electoral Commission. The role leads a team of investigators across London, Cardiff or Belfast with hybrid working.

You will provide operational leadership, ensure legally robust outcomes, and guide a team through regulatory change. The role requires experience in investigations or regulatory enforcement and the ability to manage complex cases across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading investigations or regulatory teams.
• Strong background in regulatory investigations, civil enforcement or sanctions.
• Experience managing complex cases and making enforcement decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a geographically dispersed investigations team.
• Oversee complex regulatory investigations and enforcement cases with timely, robust outcomes.
• Provide technical guidance and support investigators with complex decisions.
• Manage team performance, workloads and quality assurance.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, regulatory frameworks and internal procedures.
• Promote consistent, proportionate and defensible enforcement decisions.
• Build team confidence, accountability and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Support the implementation of legislative and operational changes.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism in a publicly scrutinised environment.
