Job summary

Creideas, Edinburgh-based consultancy, is seeking a Regulatory Finance / Regulatory Reporting Consultant on a contract basis. The role is hybrid in Edinburgh, working with regulated utilities clients to ensure proper financial and operational separation, regulatory compliance, and robust reporting.

You will partner with CFOs and senior stakeholders to review processes, design improvements, and implement effective controls and systems.

Qualifications

• ICCA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience in regulatory finance or accounting in a regulated sector.
• Experience with financial separation and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on financial and operational separation of regulated and non-regulated activities.
• Review finance structures, processes and controls and identify improvements.
• Develop cost allocation methodologies for shared costs and services.
• Support financial ring-fencing and regulatory licence compliance.
• Develop transfer pricing and related-party transaction frameworks.
• Assist with regulatory accounts, reconciliations and submissions.
• Prepare regulatory submissions and performance reports.
