Meraki Talent are recruiting a Regulatory Reporting Specialist for a permanent role based in Edinburgh. You will prepare, review and submit regulatory reports across UK, EU and US regimes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance.

The role involves collaboration with Finance, Operations, Risk and Legal, and exposure to multiple jurisdictions and evolving frameworks. The position offers a hybrid working model and is ideal for someone who enjoys interpreting regulatory change and driving

Qualifications

Meraki Talent are working with a leading financial services organisation to recruit a Regulatory Reporting Specialist for a permanent position based in Edinburgh.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced regulatory reporting professional to join a growing team with exposure to a broad range of regulatory regimes across the UK, Europe and the US.

As part of this role, you will play a key role in the preparation, review and submission of regulatory reports, working closely with internal stakeholders and ensuring reporting is accurate, timely and compliant with applicable regulatory requirements.
The role will involve exposure to multiple jurisdictions and regulatory frameworks, making it particularly suited to someone who enjoys working across different reporting requirements and interpreting regulatory change.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and reviewing regulatory reports across UK, EU and US regimes
• Ensuring submissions are accurate, complete and delivered within regulatory deadlines
• Interpreting regulatory requirements and assessing the impact of changes on reporting processes
• Working with internal teams including Finance, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Legal
• Investigating reporting discrepancies and resolving data and process issues
• Supporting the implementation of new regulatory reporting requirements
• Maintaining robust documentation, controls and reporting procedures
• Assisting with regulatory reviews, audits and internal control assessments
• Identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and automation of reporting processes
• Keeping up to date with developments across relevant regulatory frameworks

Applicants must have previous experience in regulatory reporting within financial services. Your experience could have been gained within an asset manager, investment manager, fund administrator, bank, investment firm or another regulated financial institution. In addition, applicants should have exposure to UK and/or EU regulatory reporting, with experience of US regimes as highly desirable. Exposure to regimes such as AIFMD, EMIR, MiFID/MiFIR, SFTR, FCA reporting, Form PF, CFTC/NFA or SEC reporting would be advantageous, although candidates do not need experience across every regime. Applicants must have a strong understanding of how regulatory requirements translate into reporting processes and controls.
