Job summary

Markerstudy Group is seeking a Senior Manager for Group Regulatory Engagement to work with the Head of Regulatory Engagement. The role focuses on FCA engagement, developing regulatory frameworks, and ensuring compliant submissions in line with FCA requirements.

You will lead horizon scanning, coordinate meetings and inspections, and guide divisional teams on regulatory developments while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of UK financial regulation, FCA Handbooks, and reporting requirements.
• Experience with FCA authorisations, SM&CR, and Consumer Duty.
• Excellent accuracy and record-keeping.
• Strategic thinking with senior stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to interpret FCA developments and drive business responses.
• Resilient, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead FCA engagement strategy with senior leaders.
• Oversee FCA engagement procedures for accurate, timely interactions.
• Coordinate FCA meetings, visits, reviews and inspections with stakeholders.
• Ensure timely regulatory submissions, notifications, and attestations.
• Coordinate regulatory engagement across business units.
• Manage regulatory stakeholder relationships at senior levels.
• Lead horizon scanning for regulatory changes and impact.
• Oversee firm-wide implementation of regulatory changes and governance.
• Deputise for Head of Regulatory Engagement as needed.
• Support Group Risk and Compliance with regulatory developments.
