Job summary

Johnson Matthey is seeking a Regulatory Systems & Data Specialist to join our team in the UK. You will operate and enhance regulatory data systems, ensuring accurate data flows and compliance across markets.

You will work with IT, master data owners and external vendors to resolve issues, optimise processes and translate regulatory needs into data requirements. A chemistry-related degree and strong data skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present complex data clearly.
• Solid IT and data management capabilities including database handling and system configuration.
• Chemistry or related scientific degree or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to engage stakeholders about regulatory needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and continually improve Product Stewardship systems (WERCS Studio) for regulatory data management.
• Investigate and resolve data integrity and data flow issues across source systems and integrations.
• Apply chemical understanding to validate regulatory, hazard, and product data.
• Collaborate with master data owners to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Interface with JMIT and IT teams to support system integration and issue resolution.
• Engage with the WERCS vendor (UL) or others to optimise systems and adopt best practices.
• Build understanding of regulatory needs and convert into data requirements for the business.
