Job summary

Johnson Matthey is seeking a Regulatory Systems & Data Specialist in the UK to drive data integrity and regulatory data management across multiple systems, including WERCS Studio. You will collaborate with IT, master data owners, and external vendors to ensure accurate, complete data and compliant outputs.

You will apply chemical knowledge to classify and validate regulatory data, maintain system configurations, and continuously improve stewardship processes while working in a flexible, hybrid

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex regulatory data.
• Solid IT and data management capabilities (database handling, system config).
• Scientific degree or equivalent (e.g. chemistry, environmental sciences).
• Strong verbal and written communication to engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Operate and continuously improve Product Stewardship systems, including WERCS Studio.
• Investigate and resolve data integrity and data flow issues across source systems, integrations, and WERCS outputs.
• Apply chemical understanding to validate regulatory data (SDS inputs, classifications).
• Collaborate with master data owners to ensure accurate, complete, and consistent data across systems.
• Act as primary interface with JMIT and IT teams to support system integration, issue resolution, and improvements.
• Engage with the WERCS vendor (UL) to support issue investigation, system optimisation, and best practices.
• Build and maintain understanding of regulatory needs and data requirements across markets.
