Job summary

The London Legal Department of Intercontinental Exchange Holdings, Inc. is seeking a qualified lawyer to support ICE group entities, including ICE Futures Europe and ICE Clear Europe.

This in-house role offers involvement across regulatory, compliance, treasury, and product development teams. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating contractual arrangements, conducting regulatory analyses, participating in product launches, and handling cross-jurisdictional projects.

Qualifications

• English qualified lawyer (NQ–4PQE)
• Willingness to learn and work with multiple teams
• Ability to work independently on routine legal matters
• MiFID/EMIR/REMIT exposure desirable
• Experience in banking/finance/treasury or regulatory advisory desirable
• In-house experience in a highly regulated environment desirable

Responsibilities

• Assist in the negotiation and/or drafting of contractual arrangements, licensing structures, exchange and clearing house rules
• Carry out regulatory analysis and research across a range of matters
• Participate in various projects, including product launches and development
• Assist with data protection/privacy projects
• Support various departments in a UK and cross-jurisdictional context
• Bolster the team’s knowledge of legal developments and trends
