Job summary

Fuse, an AI-first energy company, is hiring a Regulatory & Compliance Analyst to navigate the UK regulatory landscape as we scale. You will own regulatory workstreams end-to-end and work directly with the Head of Regulatory & External Affairs across Ofgem submissions and government engagement.

You’ll monitor developments, draft precise submissions, and help build robust compliance trackers as Fuse grows globally. A top university degree and strong data and writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in policy, IR, politics, economics or law.
• Knowledge of the UK energy industry and regulatory framework.
• Comfortable with data analytics and spreadsheets.
• Excellent written communication for regulators and government.
• Strong ownership and highly organised.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of regulatory workstreams end-to-end in a fast-paced environment.
• Support compliance workstreams with supply licence obligations and industry codes.
• Draft responses to regulatory consultations and engage with Ofgem, DESNZ and code bodies.
• Monitor regulatory and policy developments and brief internal teams on impact.
• Build and maintain compliance trackers and internal processes to stay ahead of obligations.
