Job summary

ACCA is seeking multiple Authorisation Officers on a full-time, fixed-term 6-month contract, with flexible home and office working and the Glasgow office as the base.

As part of the Practice Regulation Directorate, you will assess member eligibility for non-audit practising certificates, review experience forms, keep the WIP tracker current, and process annual renewals with payments while delivering high-level customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience applying knowledge and judgement in complex situations.
• Excellent communication with internal and external customers at all levels.
• Highly organised with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assess member eligibility to hold a non-audit practising certificate.
• Review practising certificate experience forms and training records.
• Maintain up-to-date WIP tracker for visibility of pending work.
• Process annual renewals of practising certificates with payments.
• Provide high-quality customer service with technical knowledge.
• Administer information in ACCA's practising member and firm databases.
• Perform regulator-to-regulator status checks.
• Process other application forms per ACCA policies.
