Job summary

SSEN Transmission invites applications for a 12-month Regulation Year in Industry internship in Scotland. You will join the Regulation team to contribute to real work from the start, supporting regulatory submissions, data gathering and decision-making processes.

You will study for a degree in Economics, Law, Engineering, Sciences or Politics, and develop analytical, commercial and stakeholder management skills while receiving mentoring and structured development opportunities.

Qualifications

• You’ll be studying towards a degree in Economics, Law, Engineering, Sciences, Politics or another closely related discipline.
• You’ll be excited by understanding how regulation, policy and commercial decision-making support major infrastructure investment.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation and review of regulatory submissions and evidence.
• Gather, analyse and present information for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in assessing the effectiveness of regulatory reporting and submissions.
• Conduct research to support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business to understand regulatory impacts.
