Job summary

Cyber Security training courses seeks a Patch Management Specialist to support a critical remediation and compliance programme within a regulated financial services environment.

You will work in a cyber and infrastructure team, performing patch deployments, assisting vulnerability remediation, and ensuring a secure technology estate under strict change-control processes. Reports to Patch Management Specialist (Senior) / Cyber Practice Lead.

Qualifications

• Experience patching Windows Server and Linux environments (patch management).
• Solid ITIL/change-management and documentation discipline.
• Strong test/validation practices with high attention to detail.
• Experience with ticketing/ITSM processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute ring-based patch deployments, including out-of-hours and weekend windows.
• Perform pre-deployment checks and post-deployment validation/smoke tests.
• Coordinate snapshot-before-change with backup specialists on sensitive tiers.
• Remediate failed patches and re-test; maintain deployment records.
• Log work through ticketing/change process and feed weekly reports.
