Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Registration Authority Agent to ensure governance and security of information accessed via NHS applications using smartcards. You will produce smartcards, verify user identities, and ensure staff have appropriate access levels in line with local and national policies, maintaining data security across NHS spine systems.

The role requires working across NHIS bases as needed, and a valid driving licence with access to a car.

We are looking for a highly motivated and driven individual with exceptional communication and organisational skills. As a Registration Authority Agent, you will help ensure the governance and security of information accessed via NHS applications using smartcards. You will be responsible for producing smartcards, confirming the identity of users, and ensuring staff have the correct level of access for their role, in line with local and national Registration Authority policies, thus maintaining the security and integrity of data held within NHS spine applications.


Ensuring service levels and targets are met as well as meeting customer satisfaction and continuous service delivery demands is essential.


The successful candidate will be expected to work across any NHIS base as well as other customer/partner bases as and when required therefore a clean driving licence and access to a car is required.

  • Car driver with own car.
