Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join Gilmore Veterinary Surgery on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract. You will be integral to the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care across consulting, theatre, inpatient care and diagnostics.

You will work closely with vets and the practice team to uphold clinical standards and support ongoing patient care development. A varied role in a friendly, supportive environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build client relationships.
• Good organisational skills and workload management.
• Proactive approach to learning and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Run nurse consultations and support client communication.
• Support theatre work including anaesthesia monitoring and surgical nursing.
• Provide inpatient care and patient monitoring.
• Assist with laboratory work and diagnostics.
• Support the use of clinical equipment.
