Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Castle Veterinary Group on a full-timebasis.

We see a varied and exciting caseload, covering everything from medical and surgical cases through to a strong focus on orthopaedic surgery. Our team includes certificate holders in advanced small animal surgery and medicine, alongside a visiting cardiology specialist.

Our facilities are well equipped to support the breadth of cases we see, including digital X-ray, ultrasound, ECG, endoscopy, full orthopaedic equipment and an in-house laboratory.

For RVNs who are keen to develop their skills and pursue further qualifications, we offer full support towards certificates. This is completely optional, so whether you’re looking to progress your clinical skills or simply want to enjoy working within a varied and experienced team, we’re happy to support your individual goals.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with a rota that includes evenings and weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays.
